Hi,
I have a problem with my dns server. Actually it may not be a problem but the result became a problem that eats too much memory.
Anyway, the problem is this; I have a web site x.com and it has sub web pages for instance; a.x.com b.x.com and those sites are not hosted in x.com server. I sometimes need to change those servers in between each other but i want them to be a.x.com again. That is why i am assigning dns records to them. For instance "a IN A 10.0.0.10".
But just want it to sumbit those dns changes on schedule for instance every 1 hour (with a cronjob). Bu at the end of the week, everytime i wrote named on the shell i saw that previous named commands are still running. so that my memory reaches to 1.9 gb in a week and i have to restart the server.
In the future i may have to reset the dns records in 15 mins schedule, what will happen is i am going to restart the server in every 2-3 days.
I dont want to restart my server as you may all expect.
How can i overcome this problem ? :shifty:
