I have a Merchant Account and am using a membership program that has a Paypal Gateway integrated.
Members who sign up as a 30-day subscriber members pay successfully each 30 days. However I am looking into modifying the program so the 30 day subscriber members are automatically renewed every 30 days.
I have looked at Paypals Buy Now button where I can set up automatic renewal. My questions are:
Is there another way to have customer be automatically renewed each month other than creating a Button?
What happens when customer who are on automatic renewal? Does Paypal access the customer payment resource and take payment and then send a notification?
What happens when customer who are on automatic renewal do not have the resources to pay? Does Paypal send out a notification? To the customer and the web site administrator?
How does it all work, please?
